Today I arrived home after a busy vacation. Pompeii is a large ancient Roman city. The city was buried under a layer of ash and pumice as a result of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. It was very interesting for me to look at this city, at the surviving statues, to learn the history of this city. I also have a new friend, his name is Tom. He is very friendly, kind, and smart enough, you can talk to him on any topic with him it will not be boring. I learned worthy a lot of information about Pompeii, I learned from what he died out, and what sights there are. I noticed the differences between Italy and Russia, as for me, Italy reproduces interest in its history and sights.
